I'd have to say my favorite book would be...
The Call of the Wild by Jack London.
I'm ONLY saying this book because not only is it great but it was the book that got me into reading for the rest of my life. I remember I had to read it for a class assignment in about the 3rd or 4th grade and I was SOOO not looking forward to it because it seemed so boring. I mean how good could a book about a dog be? Once my mom starting reading it out loud to me (since I refused to do it on my own), my head got lost in the story and my imagination ran wild. from then on, I was in love! Of course back then, all I really cared about was Sweet Valley Twins but as I got older I discovered some amazing stories and have been addicted ever since.

3. Secret Life of Bees (Sue Monk Kidd - Tried her other books, which I didn't care for)

4. Sleepers and Gangster (Lorenzo Carcaterra - had to throw them both in because they are that good)

5. The Da Vinci Code (Dan Brown - If you could go down on a book this would be the one to do it to)
